On Feb. 11 the African-American Club will present our program, at 1 p.m. 10News recently did a story on the origin of the name “Holiday, Florida,” which we helped with. The video is here. We have uploaded to flickr a 1914 brochure published by the Port Richey Company, provided by Henry Fletcher. It is here We recently obtained a short silent movie filmed in 1929. The first two minutes were shot in New Port Richey. It shows the Hacienda Hotel and a local family and their home on the river. It is here.
